The blade is 81mm long and made from high quality American tool steel, CPM MagnaCut. The specialty of this steel is the reduced amount of chromium carbides, which allows for easier sharpening compared to other stainless steels with similar wear characteristics.
CPM MagnaCut combines the strength of CPM-4V, the corrosion resistance of CPM-20CV, the sharpness retention of CPM-CruWear/CMP-4V, and the exceptional hardness of 60-63 HRC, making it one of the best steels used in factory knives.
