XTAR LC 8 is a fully compatible 8-channel intelligent charger for 1.5V lithium-ion cells. With advanced electronics, the charger can charge AA and AAA size batteries. Controlled by an MCU, the intelligent charging functions can select the appropriate charging current according to the input power, which ultimately protects both the batteries and the charger from overheating and damage. Thanks to the built-in LED, the device indicates the charging status. The special design with a hollow housing better dissipates heat, which protects the charger and the cells being charged. The built-in microcontroller MCU accurately measures voltage with ±0.05V accuracy and stops the charging process when the batteries are fully charged, which is safe and recommended.
0V Reactivation of discharged cells involves inserting the cell into the charger and checking the voltage. With this function, we can check AAA/ AA size Li-ION cells. When a discharged cell is detected, the charger will attempt to reactivate it. Note that exceeding the minimum voltage on the cell will limit the possibility of reactivating and saving such a battery.
