The Work Sharp WSKTS MK.2 is an upgraded version of the WSKTS electric sharpener that allows you to sharpen all types of knives and tools, with added convenience, better control and speed.
The WSKTS MK.2 was built on the experience and success of the WSKTS sharpener, offering better functionality and ease of sharpening. Using the WSKTS MK.2 flexible abrasive belts, we can sharpen not only smooth-blade knives, but also serrated and curved blades, tanto blades, filleting knives, skinning hooks, scissors, axes, lawnmower blades and other tools with a cutting edge.
Changes from Generation I:
Two modes of operation
The new two-speed motor has 2 operating modes: a low-speed standard mode for greater control when sharpening a knife, and a high-speed high-speed mode necessary for grinding heavy and hard tools such as lawnmower blades, axes and other popular lawn and garden tools.
Such functionality guarantees full control over the sharpening process and allows the belt speed to be adjusted depending on the job at hand, i.e. grinding and deburring, ending with smoothing and polishing.
Guaranteed angle retention
Instead of two interchangeable guides, the second-generation sharpener uses a single pad with two sharpening angles: 20° and 25°. This allows for convenient sharpening of kitchen and outdoor knives without having to rearrange the guides, and prevents losing one of them.
An additional convenience is the use of leather inserts that, when dragging the blade, protect it from scratches and gently polish the grind. The lower blade guides have also been upgraded to help maintain the factory blade profile. The flexible design allows the guides to be pivoted, ensuring that the entire length of the blade is sharpened. This has the advantage of making it more convenient to sharpen knives with a peg on both sides. With the ability to remove the Work Sharp guide, the WSKTS MK.2 also allows the grinding of large tools and technical blades, such as axes and lawnmower blades.

Professional knife makers use belt grinders and flexible abrasive belts to sharpen their products. Thanks to the Work Sharp electric sharpener WSKTS MK.2, we can use this professional method at home and thus take care of the perfect sharpness of our tools. Abrasive belts allow us to quickly and accurately sharpen the knife to factory sharpness, without the need for expensive services. Depending on the condition of the cutting edge, we can use abrasive belts of 3 different gradations for sharpening: 80, 220 and 6000 (included).

Scissor guide
The WSKTS2-I model includes an additional 65° guide dedicated to scissor sharpening. Sharpening by hand does not guarantee the derivation of a symmetrical cutting edge. The guide allows you to quickly and professionally restore the sharpness of household scissors every time you need it.
