The first lamp from the Walther Pro-Sortiment exclusively to ultraviolet light (395 nm wavelength from a 5 W UV Hi-Power LED). UV light, also known as black light is used for checking banknotes or identity documents, looking for amber, use it also for invisible markings on hiding places. The UV 5 is supplied with three AAA alkaline batteries (1.5 V), but has the multi-Battery System (MBS), which also allows other energy sources such as batteries. With battery box (3 x AAA), battery sleeve for 1 x ICR18650 or 2x CR 123.
