The Ruike F186 knife measures 231 mm in length and has a concise design with a consistent balance between ergonomics and structural durability. The model is suitable not only for outdoor use, but also easily copes with everyday tasks that require a sharp and durable blade.
The fixed blade has a universal straight back profile with an elongated cutting edge and a thin tip, making the knife easier to pierce and cut. For ease of use when cutting, small notches are placed on the back of the blade to form a thumb rest.
The knife is made of D2 steel with excellent strength, easy sharpening and good corrosion resistance. Straight blades with a hardness of 59-61 HRC effectively cut materials of various densities, from thick cardboard to hard plastic and even small branches. The gold-tone titanium coating makes the knife look unique and gives the metal a matte finish, eliminating any shine and disguising fingerprints on the blade.
This is the first knife in the Ruike range with a micarta handle. The advantages of this material are stability in the event of temperature changes, resistance to moisture and resistance to damage in case of mechanical impact. In addition, micarta does not absorb odors and does not fade over time, maintaining its original appearance throughout its service life.
The padding on the handles is molded, increasing the ergonomics of the design. This feature, together with the slightly rough micarta surface, makes the handle extremely reliable and does not slip in the palm of your hand. For extra security, you can put a lanyard on your arm (not included). The tail of the handle has a hole for attaching a string.
The weight of the knife is 148 g. The kit includes an ABS plastic shell with a strap with a button for attaching to a belt.
