- The Ruike F186-MB is a medium-sized outdoor knife with a Full Tang design. This term refers to knives made of one piece of steel, the tang (internal skeleton) of which extends the entire length of the handle.
- The Full Tang design has scales attached directly to the tang, which increases the mechanical strength of the knife and makes it virtually indestructible.
- The blade is made of hard and durable D2 tool steel hardened to 59-61 HRC. D2 is a carbon steel with the highest corrosion resistance, which cuts extremely aggressively, has excellent retention (the ability to hold an edge) and is highly resistant to wear and damage.
- D2 is a great alternative to expensive premium steels, because it has great cutting properties, is hard and highly resistant to abrasion. Its sharpening requires a lot of work and a suitable sharpener (preferably diamond), but this is compensated by long edge retention and less frequent sharpening.
- The 106 mm Drop Point blade is finished with the Stonewash technique, which perfectly masks minor scratches that occur during use of the knife.

- The element that is responsible for the comfort of using the knife is, of course, its handle. The Ruike survival knife has stylish Micarta linings attached to the shank with screws.
- The Micarta composite is made from a combination of canvas pressed under pressure with synthetic resin. The material is lightweight and resistant to mechanical damage.
- A stable grip of the knife is guaranteed by the profiled shape of the handle and its textured surface. In the rear part of the grip there is a hole intended for a strap or paracord.
- The handle ends with a tip, which in a crisis situation can be used as an improvised glass breaker.
