This folding knife has a total length of 220 mm and a 96 mm blade with a Drop-Point profile, crafted from D2 tool steel for optimal durability and wear resistance. The blade has a stonewash finish. The handle features a Frame Lock and a black G10 laminate scale. Knife designer Carson Huang is responsible for the knife s design.
D2 tool steel
The blade is made of D2 steel, known for its very high abrasion resistance and long-lasting sharpness. It is characterized by a high carbon and chromium content, which translates into high wear resistance.
Drop-Point blade, flat grind, Stonewash finish
The blade features a Drop-Point profile, designed for maximum blade tip strength. This profile is particularly effective in outdoor and EDC applications, where a combination of high piercing ability and optimal blade control is required. The spine of the blade features jimping, which allows for a firm thumb rest and increased blade control during cutting.
The Evolution Ironclad model features a Flat Grind, providing increased resistance to damage. The blade is finished with a Stonewash process, which eliminates reflections and provides a matte finish.
G10 laminate handle, spring clip
The ergonomically contoured handle is made of impact-resistant black G10 laminate. A springy steel clip in the tip-up position ensures comfortable everyday carrying, allowing the knife to be easily attached to a belt or pocket edge. The clip is mounted on the right side.
Thumb stud, Frame Lock
The blade features a dual-sided thumb stud, allowing the knife to be easily opened with either hand. The blade is secured in the open position by a Frame Lock, featuring an intuitive push-button that pushes the frame back, allowing for quick and convenient opening and closing of the knife with one hand, even when wearing gloves. An additional sliding lock prevents accidental opening or closing of the blade, increasing user safety during carrying and work.
