The TM9K PRO is the successor to the well-known and popular TM9K TAC from Nitecore . As with its predecessor, the TM9K PRO also has a built-in Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 5000mAh.
The battery is charged via a USB-C port integrated in the lamp head. The integrated charger delivers a charging power of max. 18W, with the battery charged by approx. 80% after less than 1 hour and 45 minutes. The TM9K PRO is equipped with 3 x 9 NiteLab LEDs, which provide a maximum lighting output of 9900 lumens. Like the last two released Nitecore models EDC33 and EDC35 , the TM9K PRO also has the SEARCH and LUMIN SHIELD modes. These two modes CANNOT be turned on permanently! In SEARCH mode, 6000 lumens are available with a beam range of 510 meters. A built-in photo sensor significantly reduces the brightness if an object appears in front of the lamp or if it accidentally switches on when stowed away. In LUMIN SHIELD mode you have access to the full output of 9900 lumens with wide illumination.
The TM9K PRO is operated via two switches, both of which are located on the end cap. The main switch is used to switch on and off and change the brightness, the mode switch switches SEARCH and LUMIN SHIELD.
To protect the Nitecore TM9K PRO from unwanted activation, you can choose between two different lockout modes.
A small LED light on the end cap of the lamp constantly provides information about the charging status by flashing and changing color.
