Nitecore EDC23 Rechargeable Flashlight - The newly developed Nitecore EDC23 SABER flashlight features an ultra-short design and exceptional performance, making it lighter, slimmer and more compact. The EDC23 also has a slim structure with smooth sides instead of a cylindrical one, making it an innovative breakthrough. Both NiteLab and Nitecore are owned by SYSMAX and together they have developed a revolutionary series of Ultra High Intensity UHi LEDs specifically designed for flashlights. This series includes UHi 10, UHi 20, UHi25, UHi 40 and other models suitable for different flashlights. The Nitecore EDC23 SABER is equipped with two NiteLab UHi 25 LEDs and a metal reflector that perfectly combines close and far lighting. It provides a maximum output of 2500 lumens and a maximum distance of 280 meters, and its brightness is much higher than that of ordinary EDC flashlights. The LEDs are powered by a direct current circuit to ensure sustainable use and guaranteed safety. To power the lamp, it has a built-in lithium-ion battery (1500 mAh) that can be charged via the USB-C port.
The lamp has 5 light levels and a stroboscopic function. This random stroboscopic function provides a variable frequency of flashing light, which increases the disorientation effect. The two buttons at the bottom are specially designed for tactical use and are placed at different heights for easy control. One button is an on/off switch and you control the light modes, while the other button controls the Strobe and Turbo functions. With this switch, these functions can be activated at any time, even when the lamp is turned off. You can also preset the desired light level using the preset function.
To charge this flashlight, it has a USB-C connector that allows the built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery to be charged in 1.5 hours. This USB charging point is protected from dust and water by a cover. There is a multi-function OLED real-time display that shows the number of lumens, voltage and run time. The OLED screen now also shows remaining power via a dynamic progress bar. In addition, you can lock the lamp in 2 positions, so the full lock ensures that you will not accidentally turn it on. If you re using half shutter, you can directly use the Turbo and Strobe functions with the mode switch. The light is also equipped with a sensor protection that ensures that the light automatically dims if an object gets too close. This ensures that the lamp does not overheat.
This compact and handy flashlight has a very strong stainless steel body with a PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) titanium coating. The Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) frame is designed with durable and non-slip textures in four places, and the multi-layer construction is held together by 4 sets of connecting bolts and cap nuts for excellent impact and torsion resistance. In addition, the EDC23 is equipped with a hybrid heat dissipation system, and together with the integrated ATR module, solves the problem of heat dissipation, so that the lighting lasts longer.
