This Fenix 16340 battery is, in many cases, a good rechargeable alternative for CR123A batteries. This battery can supply you with more power than a CR123A battery. As such you will be left with a higher light output in some lights than when using a CR123A battery.
Remarkable about this 16340 battery is that you don t need a charger. A micro-USB cable is enough. This battery namely contains a micro-USB port in order to charge it. The head of the battery contains a small LED light. It will show you the charging status. It is important to know that this battery is protected from over and undercharging with the help of a protective circuit. Please note: if you want to charge the battery via the micro-USB port you need a power source that supplies you with a maximum of 500mAh (0.5 Amps). As soon as you charge the battery in the charging station we recommend an output of up to 1000mAh.
