The knife was designed by Andrew Demko, who was inspired by the Greek sword Kopis. The Spartan Cold Steel model is a folding version of the classic Kopis, featuring a curved blade, a sharp ridge and an aggressive tip.

The hollow ground knife is made of Japanese AUS10A stainless steel. Similar to the Kukri, the shape of the blade ensures that the material is cut at an angle, resulting in greater kinetic force on the material being cut.

The frameless handle is made from two profiles cut from Griev Ex material. The finger cutouts and rough texture of the handle guarantee a secure grip in all conditions and with a variety of grip options.

The blade has a double-sided thumb drive that allows you to easily open the knife with either your right or left hand. In addition, the disc allows for quick opening by hooking the edge of the pocket - similar to knives with a wave system.

In the open position, the blade is locked with the reliable Tri-Ad lock, which is an improved version of the rear lock. It is currently one of the most stable and durable locks available on a folding knife.

Comfortable, everyday carrying is ensured by a flexible clip on the handle, which allows you to attach the knife to a belt or to the edge of a pocket. The clip is reversible and can be installed for right-handed and left-handed users.
