The Nova Folder was designed by Christian Porterfield, who drew inspiration from his own knife collection. Its simple, understated design is perfect for everyday use. The compound-grind, Tanto-shaped blade evokes Japanese shapes, adding character to the overall design. The blade is made of AR-RPM9 stainless powder-coated steel, manufactured and patented by Artisan Cutlery. High corrosion resistance, long-lasting sharpness, and ease of maintenance and sharpening are its key features. The blade s Sand Polish finish leaves small scratches that slightly dull the surface, giving it a rough-polished look. The blade is mounted on ceramic ball bearings, which extend smoothly and easily using a double-sided thumb stud. Easy, one-handed operation is suitable for both right- and left-handed users. Safety is ensured by the classic Liner Lock mechanism and the serrated spine of the blade, providing a stable thumb rest. The contoured handle, made of weather-resistant G10 material with a non-slip texture, ensures a secure grip in all conditions. A two-position clip allows the folder to be carried in a pocket or on your equipment. The set includes a microfiber cleaning cloth and a soft-lined, zippered sheath for convenient transport.
