Civivi Odium is an EDC folding knife with a classic, economical form and solid construction. The blade is forged from D-2 carbon steel , which is resistant to corrosion, wear and damage, and has high retention (the ability to keep sharpness). Hardened to 58-60 HRC . Drop Point blade ensures good cutting performance. The Black Stonewash finish means that the blade is covered with irregular, small scratches, which well mask subsequent scratches that appear during normal use.
The folder is equipped with ceramic ball bearings that support the operation of the knife opening mechanism. The Liner Lock makes the tool safe and trustworthy. Civivi Odium opens using a flipper or a hole in the blade .
The handle lining is made of dark green micarta - a composite made of a combination of pressure-pressed canvas with synthetic resin, light and resistant to mechanical damage. Smoothed edges of the linings improve the grip and make the knife fit well in the hand.
Thanks to the open backed design , the tool can be cleaned without any major problems. The manufacturer also took care of the convenient transport of the knife by equipping it with a double-sided DC clip.
