The CIVIVI Amaroq C24018-1 represents a modern take on a classic, reinterpreting the karambit form in the spirit of tactical minimalism. Designed by Tony Sentmanat—a former SWAT operator and U.S. Marine veteran—it combines a compact design with utilitarian functionality, offering enhanced control and safe blade handling even in high-stress situations.
Blade: The 53.7 mm Reverse Tanto blade features a flat grind and a satin finish. Made of Nitro-V stainless steel hardened to 59–61 HRC, it provides an optimal balance of sharpness retention, corrosion resistance, and toughness. A small rescue tool is integrated into the spine for cutting belts or ropes.
Deployment & Lock: Equipped with a flipper, dual thumb studs, and an Emerson-style wave opening feature for rapid deployment straight from the pocket. Caged ceramic ball bearings ensure silky-smooth rotation, while a secure Button Lock handles locking duties.
Handle: Molded from gray aluminum for low weight and high mechanical resistance. Features profiled finger grooves and an integrated retention ring that allows smooth transitions between classic and inverted grips. Includes a deep-carry stainless steel pocket clip (tip-up).
