The Buck Trapper 0382BRS is a classic Trapper pocket knife with 2 blades: clippoint and speypoint. Exactly the way a Trapper should be.

You open the Buck with two hands. To make this easier, there s a nail nick which gives you a little extra grip using your fingernail. This pocket knife is not equipped with a full lock, only with a slipjoint mechanism. This provides some resistance to prevent the knife from snapping shut during normal use. However, if you press on the spine of the blade, the knife will shut.

Blade made of 420J2 steel
This blade is made of 420J2 steel, a basic stainless steel type that is easy to sharpen. The blade of this knife is enhanced with a satin finish . This is a chic and tasteful finish that is very popular.

Handle made of wood
The handle of this pocket knife is made of wood. This is, of course, one of the best-known handle materials for knives. We always recommend taking good care of a wooden handle. Do not expose a wooden handle too much to moisture and regularly coat the wood with oil or wax.

Traditional: the Trapper pattern
This knife is a so-called ‘Trapper’ one of the oldest and more famous ‘patterns’ in the world of Traditionals. Usually, the 2 blades hinge from the same side of the handle. These blades are usually a clippoint and a speypoint, but variations are possible. The origins of this model lie with the poachers who used to set traps and then had to process captured game.
