The Buck 112 Ranger knife is a classical model and a small brother of Buck 110 Folding Hunter. 110 was a very popular model among sailors. One day, after fights between US Navy sailors, carrying knives with a blade longer than a certain size was prohibited. The 110 blade was longer than allowed, so Buck Knives created the Ranger, a smaller version of the 110. Buck 112 Ranger featuring a 420HC clip blade, brass bolsters, and a genuine ebony handle.
