The Angry Owl was designed as a compact everyday carry (EDC) knife. The G10 composite handle provides excellent ergonomics during use. The blade is made of D2 tool steel, prized for its hardness, abrasion resistance, and ability to hold a sharp edge for a long time. The two-tone finish—satin on the flats and stonewash on the working surfaces—provides both an elegant look and practical resistance to minor scratches. The flat grind ensures optimal cutting geometry and makes sharpening easier. The button lock mechanism allows for intuitive and safe operation, while the thumb hole in the blade provides quick one- or two-handed opening. Keanu Alfaro, an experienced industrial designer and entrepreneur from San Diego, California, has an unwavering passion for creating innovative knives and EDC tools. He spent his youth playing sports, hiking, building things, and exploring the world, and it was during these adventures that he discovered his fascination with knives and tools. In 2021, Keanu began his career by joining a group of prestigious knife and tool manufacturing companies. He quickly earned a reputation as a talented designer known for his ability to create products that combine functionality with aesthetics.

D2 is a high-carbon, high-chromium high-speed tool steel heat-treated to 58-60 HRC. Thanks to its high chromium content of 13.0% (Cr), it offers greater corrosion resistance than most high-carbon steels. It combines toughness, excellent edge retention, and easy sharpening. It is characterized by high abrasion resistance due to a large amount of carbides in its microstructure.

The Blade has a drop point profile, offering versatility for daily tasks—from precise cuts to general EDC work. The D2 steel provides excellent edge retention and wear resistance. The two-tone finish combines attractive satin surfaces with a matte stonewash texture that effectively hides signs of use. The flat grind improves cutting performance and makes sharpening easier. The jimping on the spine increases control over the blade during use.
