The Benchmade 99T Necron butterfly knife is a training version of the Balisongs from the Benchmade Necron series. A knife with a training blade allows you to safely practice tricks without the risk of injury, allowing you to perfect your tricks and develop smooth movements.
The characteristic blue handle informs the user that he or she is using a safe, training version of the knife. Apart from the blade, the rest of the elements of the Benchmade butterfly are identical to the sharp version of the blade.

The Balisong has a 116 mm long skeleton blade with a Scimitar profile, referring to the classic design of butterfly knives, made of 440C stainless steel.
The blade is finished with the Stonewash technique (an abrasive bath in fine gravel), which effectively masks minor scratches or abrasions to the blade resulting from use.
A training butterfly knife equipped with a blunt blade allows for safe butterfly training, and in the event of failure while performing tricks, it will not cause injury as would be the case with a sharp blade.
The butterfly is perfectly balanced thanks to the use of the highest quality materials in its construction and thanks to tungsten weights in the form of discs, which are placed in the handle and adjusted to individual preferences. This structure of the Balisong knife ensures controlled flipping of the knife and easy performance of impressive tricks.

The blue handle is made of G-10 , a material reinforced with glass fiber, resistant to mechanical impact, high temperature and the effects of some active chemicals. G-10 is an easy-to-maintain material with a rough, non-slip surface that ensures a stable knife grip.
The arms have beveled and rounded edges, so performing tricks with this knife is pure pleasure. The handle is equipped with replaceable tips, thanks to which you can adjust its length and adapt it to the size of your hand, which is extremely important when performing butterfly knife tricks.
Together with the knife, the user receives a nylon sheath that allows the knife to be conveniently carried in many ways.
