XTAR MX4 battery charger for Li-ion / Ni-MH batteries

All batteries, one solution. Compact four-slot charger with great compatibility. Dimensions and a weight of only 96 g make the Xtar MX4 the ideal companion for travelling, hobbies and sports.

Compatible with 1.5V & 3.6/3.7V Li-Ion 3.2V LiFePO4 & 1.2V Ni-MH batteries

There are no menus or convoluted options that you have to laboriously set each time, a mechanical slide switch with 2 options on the side (Standard & LifePO4) to switch to the desired battery type, insert and charge the battery. Charging and landing stop are automatic when the battery is full. The 4 LEDs provide information about the charging process. If you only insert one battery each in slots 1 and 4, they are charged with 1A charging current each, if a battery is in slot 2 or 3, it is charged with 0.5A.

The following lithium-ion battery types can be charged with the Xtar MX4:

• Li-ion IMR, INR, ICR(1.5V 3.6/3.7V nominal voltage) : AA, AAA, 10440, 10500, 12340, 12500, 12650, 13450, 13500, 13650, 14350, 14430, 14500, 14650, 16500, 16340(RCR123), 16650, 17350, 17500, 17650, 17670, 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650, 20700, 21700, 22500, 22650,
• The following batteries can only be charged in charging slots 1 and 4: 25500, 26500, 26650.
• Protected 21700/20700 and other batteries longer than 70.2 mm cannot be charged.
• The following LiFePO4 (IFR) battery types can be charged with the Xtar MX4:
• LiFePO4 IFR (3.2V nominal voltage): 10440, 10500, 12340, 12500, 12650, 13450, 13500, 13650, 14350, 14430, 14500, 14650, 16500, 16340(RCR123), 16650, 17350, 17500, 17650, 17670, 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650, 20700, 21700, 22500, 22650,
• The following batteries can only be charged in charging slots 1 and 4: 25500, 26500, 26650.
• The following NiMH battery types can be charged with the Xtar MX4:
• NiMH/NiCD (1.2 V nominal voltage) AAA, AA, A, SC
