The blade is made of hard D2 tool steel, hardened to 60 HRC. D2 is a carbon steel that is characterized by exceptional corrosion resistance, high wear resistance, long-lasting sharpness and aggressive cutting.

The knife has a symmetrical spear-point profile blade, covered with a satin finish (polishing) that eliminates reflections and gives a classic look. The knife has good cutting properties and excellent penetration due to the flat bevel, gently curved cutting edge and solid tip.

The split-serrated blade makes it easy to cut hard and fibrous materials such as rope, belts and tape. Knives with a combination blade (a combination of a smooth and serrated cutting edge) are most often chosen by soldiers, rescuers and those looking for military-style tools.

A flat clip is attached to the handle, which can be moved to the other side, so the knife can be carried discreetly in a pocket, on a belt or equipment.
