The knife blade is made of popular 440C stainless steel hardened in the range of 57-59 HRC. Thanks to the increased carbon content, the steel is resistant to wear, maintains working sharpness for a long time, and is relatively quick and easy to sharpen, which is important in the case of a knife for outdoor work. The blade has an elegant satin finish (polishing).
Friction folder - a historically designed knife
Friction folder is a folding knife that does not have a classic lock. This function is partially fulfilled by the extended blade pin, which is locked with the hand after the blade is unfolded. Only the friction force and the hand holding the handle with the pin hidden inside it protect against uncontrolled folding of the blade.
The blade is opened using the so-called Piedmont lever , an elongated pin that hides inside the handle when the knife is unfolded. When using the knife, the hand simply presses the lever, which prevents the blade from folding. This functionality makes the knife easy and convenient to use for both right-handed and left-handed people.
Anti-slip grip guarantees safe work
The knife has profiled linings made in CNC technology from G10 laminate. Thanks to the fine texture and anatomical cutouts, the knife lies securely and comfortably in the hand. The Kydex sheath with a cord allows you to carry the knife around your neck or in your pocket.
